Megan Alodie

Some people consider doodling a neat past time; a hobby that lets the mind wander while the hand sketches. Admittedly, I have been a doodler since diapers and crayons were a mainstay in my life. I wouldn't classify myself as an artist, rather art is an expression of who I am. 

I was born in Brooklyn, NY, where our company is currently based, and raised in Atlanta, GA. I've had the opportunity to study as a journalist and photographer. Moving back to New York, has put me on the path to pursue my art full-time. Upon discovering Mandala art, I decided to create AlodieCloud with my family. I found I had a passion for the intricacies and the stories held in every stroke of my pen.

Mandala, originally an Indian practice for healing and meditation, means circle. I chose this design for my various products because I believe it captures the flow and effervescent freedom I hold in my heart. It gives me focus and peace of mind. It also happens to be a part of my heritage, anchoring me in culture that I feel a strong connection to.
